The Central NJ Coalition For Peace & Justice was formed in November, 2002, by a group of concerned citizens who were alarmed by the U.S. goverment’s war on Iraq. We base our work on the vision that all people deserve a secure and fulfilling life of peace, equality, and freedom. We view U.S. militarism as a profit-hungry machine that destroys lives.

We have called demonstrations and organized locally for national anti-war marches. We have distributed thousands of flyers and sponsored dozens of speakers, including, Ramsey Clark, Lynne Stewart, Monica Moorehead, and Sara Flounders.

We meet Thursdays, at 6:30 PM, at the Unitarian meeting house, 1475 West Front Street, Lincroft.

The Central New Jersey Coalition For Peace & Justice is dedicated to working toward and for a society that provides every human being with true national security.

We recognize that this means people in this country should be allowed to have a job that can sustain them and their family, a home, health care, the right to an education and retirement. We also believe and work towards creating and supporting a society that is free of racism, sexism, homophobia, immigrant bigotry, union-busting and religious persecution.

We work toward a society that is based on peace and a peace-based economy and toward ridding our country of militarism in all its forms.

The Central New Jersey Coalition for Peace & Justice respects and honors the sovereignty and right to self-determination of all nations, their right to be free of United States of America imperialist actions, invasions, occupation, or economic coercion.
