The Coalition mtg. will start at 6:45
(or a little after) on Thursday eve., April 20. We will be discussing
the April 29 march in NYC, leafleting for it, where the Brookdale leafleting
situation stands now, and have an open discussion of recent events in the news. We may have a short movie as well. Incidentally, on Sunday, April 23rd, the UUCMC will have a service entitled: Green Sunday, "Environmental Justice in New Jersey." The guest speaker will be Theodore Carrington, who is is a member of the NJ Environmnetal Justice Advisory Borad and the NAACP Borard. He also is associated with Greenfaith. The service is by the Social Action/Green Sanctuary Committee of the UU. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Services are at 9 and 11. Members of the Coalition were invited. Fort Monmouth Peace Vigil Continues Every Saturday ... Peace activists Al Strasbuger, Jackie Carr-Hamilton and other regulars will continue to hold a peace vigil every Saturday, at noon, at Fort Monmouth on Route 35 in Eatontown to protest against U.S military intervention around the world. |
